Hot Tub and Pool Rules and Expectations

The year around heated Pool and Hot Tub are attractive, beneficial amenities to enjoy in your community. This great feature is unique in the Kansas City area and is available for Asbury Villas and Asbury Estates occupants and their guests based on published Policies and Rules.

Please familiarize yourself with the following Pool Rules, which are also posted on the west wall of the indoor pool area.

Asbury Villas Pool Rules
NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY ~ SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Violations of these rules may result in suspension of pool privileges.
Parents or guardians are expected to SUPERVISE their children, be responsible and liable for the actions of their children.
NO CHILDREN UNDER 16 WITHOUT A PARENT OR ADULT GUARDIAN IN ATTENDANCE AT ALL TIMES

BE SAFE
No activity that could be considered dangerous, 
disruptive or offensive to others

• No horseplay
• No running
• No excessive splashing
• No rude or inappropriate language
• No throwing (Frisbees, balls, etc)
• No bicycles, tricycles, skateboards, or wagons (Use clubhouse parking lot)
• No electrical devices, unless battery powered
• NO GLASS
• No intoxicated persons
• No alcoholic beverages

BE CLEAN

• No gum
• No disposable diapers
• No food except at tables
• Cleanup before leaving
• No smoking
• No pets, except for service dogs.
• Use pool furniture with care.

BE RESPECTFUL
A homeowner must accompany and stay with guests.

• Four guests per home, outside the immediate family, are allowed.

*Use of the pool is for the benefit of residents, and is not for parties or groups, (birthdays, reunions, teams, scouts, etc.)

• Keep floats and other large devices out of the pool during peak use.
• Keep volume on musical devices low enough not to disturb others.

• Shower before entering the pool.

• Swimsuits must be worn - no other clothing can be worn for swimming.

• Infants must wear appropriate swimsuits and swim diapers.

• Guests or residents with an infectious or communicable disease may not use the pool.

EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT:

• Pool gate is for emergency use only.  Enter and exit the pool using the front door.
• Emergency flotation device is not a toy, leave it on the wall available in case of emergency.  
• Never remove pool maintenance tools from the wall.
